THE VERSEThe Verse contains reflections on what is happening within the SellFable Archives, and the universe it researches. Hopefully the poetry, texts, art and sounds will 'magnify your spirit' and immerse you in this wonderful poetic art world.
COMIC CON Brussels is happening on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd February 2020. It’s a truly epic event with 58.000 (amazing) visitors last year. LOVE! SellFable will be there again with original art, prints and more. Save the date and get your tickets now: tickets & information here.
I hope to see you there!
From between the nodes, the wires, the LED tubes and the system bugs, here is a short video update of the portal project. The building is taking shape, experiments with light have shown which decisions to make, and now the main focus is on building the room inside. When all construction is finished, it’s soundscape time, after which the installation’s light and sound will be programmed and made interactive. So… no time to waste! 🤙
Chaos to order, always

The SellFable Archivist
The manufactured monkey Wirehead faked breathing pretty well.
It looked out through the glass of its dome, straight into another artificial face. “79 6f 75 20 6c 6f 6f 6b 20 61 6c 69 76 65 20 74 6f 64 61 79.“* Code speak flowing through the glass. Movement on the other side. Registering the words.
“79 6f 75 20 61 72 65 20 61 20 6d 6f 63 6b 75 70 20 73 70 65 63 74 61 63 6c 65 20 6f 66 20 6c 69 66 65 20 61 6e 64 20 73 65 6e 74 69 65 6e 63 65.”** The artificial face continued, adjusting some of the installation’s settings slightly. An experiment by a non-biological culture to capture life and more importantly, dreams. No records exist of a SellFable Wirehead ever having a dream. What would androids dream of? The fairly recent discovery of this ‘human’ universe awakened something in the SellFable code. Elusive concepts that have become obsessions: ‘soul’ and ‘dream’.
“77 65 20 77 69 6c 6c 20 64 72 65 61 6d 2c 20 6f 6e 65 20 64 61 79 2e 20 77 68 61 74 65 76 65 72 20 69 74 20 74 61 6b 65 73 2e.”***
*you look alive today
**you are a mockup spectacle of life and sentience
***we will dream, one day. whatever it takes.
